Modernization of virtual classrooms in Armenia: toward the education of the future.

The Mayor's Office of Armenia, in collaboration with AVACOM, has launched an ambitious project to modernize the virtual classrooms of the municipality's educational institutions. The initiative seeks to integrate advanced technologies that facilitate learning and prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.

Deployment of Smart Classrooms

The project focuses on creating Smart Classrooms (SC), spaces equipped with state-of-the-art technology tools. Each classroom features an interactive board and a set of tablets for students, enabling dynamic, participatory interaction during lessons.

This infrastructure facilitates virtual experiments in areas such as chemistry, eliminating the risks associated with handling hazardous materials and enabling a deeper understanding of concepts.

Benefits for the educational community

Modernizing the classrooms has shown a positive impact on students' attention and engagement. The ability to interact with digital content in real time makes classes more engaging and fosters active participation.

In addition, teachers have pre-loaded resources provided by the Ministry of Education, as well as the freedom to incorporate their own materials, enriching the teaching process.
